Company or any person shall analyze the competition if they want to win the competition. Important things to note from the competition include the following:
- Completeness, quality and design.
- The price offered.
- Owned distribution channels.
- Promotions that run.
- Competitor activity plan forward.
The main activities of a competitor analysis is as follows:
- Identify competitors.
- Determine target competitors.
- Identify competitor strategies.
- Analysis of strengths and weaknesses ofo competitors.
- Identify competitor reaction.
- strategy against competitors.
Analysis of competitor activity, it will be known:
- Who are our competitors.
- What competitors target to be achieved.
- How are they doing strategy.
- What and where competitors’ strengthso and weaknesses.
- How did the pattern of their reactions.
- Anyone who needs to beo attacked first.
- How do I attack him.
- Competitors which should be avoided in advance.
The first step to win the competition is to identify the competitor. At this stage we seek to identify competitors, including:
1. Types of products offered.
2. Given the scale of the controlled market (market share) competitors.
3. Identify opportunities and threats.
4. Identify the advantages and disadvantages
For example: What and how the completeness of the product?
- In what form packaged products?
- What is the selling price?
