The domain name is an important element when you go into the Online Business. Besides considerations Search Engine Friendly, visitors would be much easier to remember domain name. Here are simple tips on choosing a domain:

# Always use .com

Avoid the use of TLD (Top Level Domain) “info”, “biz”, if you are really serious about your Internet Marketing business.
“Com” is more popular than “net”. And visitors are more likely to type the TLD “com” than any other TLD.

# Do not use the domain name too long

Although you can use as many as 67 characters for domain names, but the use of the domain name is too long will confuse visitors.

# Avoid using Hyphen (-)

Domain names that use hyphen (minus sign) is more difficult to remember, spelled and named. We will be hard to explain to someone else if the domain name owned using hyphens / dash.

# Choose a domain name that contains keywords (keywords) is popular in the topic / field.

This will help visitors to remember your domain name. In addition, domain name that contains a popular keyword in the subject will help your website ranking positions in Searh engine result page (SERP on google.com, yahoo.com and others.

# Do not use digits / numbers “0″

This will confuse the viewer to guess whether the number “0″ or the letter “O”.

If you still want to use the number “0″, make sure that for part of the name must be known by visitors, such as 100, 3000, etc… In addition, make sure that you also buy a similar domain name that uses the letter “O”

# Avoid also using the number “2″ to replace “to”, and the number “4″ for a substitute “for”

It will confuse visitors. They must first guess the meaning of the domain name.
However, if you keep using it, as usual, also bought a similar domain name that is stands for. E.g. “special4u.com” and “SpecialForYou.com”

# Consider using the number “1″ in front of the domain name

When someone makes a directory website, they will determine how to arrange a website in that directory. The most common arrangement is the order of the alphabet used. Use the number “1″ in front, like “1stClass.com” will assist in positioning your website in the directory. Besides these figures also reflect that your business is a business leader in the field.
But the use of the number “1″ is also not applicable in some existing directory. Like Yahoo, they use the title of websites that are submit. Also as in dmoz.org, they will ignore the number “1″ or “1st”, and read the letter afterwards. For example “1stZebraCross.com” will be read in sequence “Z”.
